As an Agile Lead, you will play a key role in refining and enhancing our agile practices to support our growing organisation. You will be responsible for working closely with our Product and Engineering team to create a flexible and responsive system, fostering a culture of collaboration and ensuring continuous improvement.
In the role of Agile Lead, you will be responsible for defining and delivering a series of initiatives to enhance our current practices and facilitate success against our strategic objectives. You will take an active role in working with our teams to embed best practice, remove impediments and provide training and coaching to help us achieve delivery improvements whilst creating self- organised, engaged and empowered squads.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the organisation’s refinement of agile methodologies and practices
- Provide coaching and training at all levels in the organisation to further develop agile capabilities
- Develop and implement strategies to embed best practice and consistency of agile ceremonies
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams
- Introduce new and effective ways of working, removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor and report on the progress of the agile transformation
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align agile initiatives with business objectives
Key Skills
- Proven experience as an Agile Lead or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Experience in coaching, mentoring and training teams and individuals
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve complex problems and drive change
- Agile certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.) is preferred
- Sound knowledge of SAFe is desirable
- Experience of working in an agile environment and from within the Energy/Utilities would be highly advantageous.
