In a Nutshell

The role is responsible for managing a team of Billing analysts and overseeing the day to day activity required to deliver the services we provide for our B2B clients with respect to operations performance and exception management.

The role currently supports ENSEK’s clients to ensure bills are produced on time each month to a high level of accuracy.


  1. Day to day management of the B2B Billing team of up to 12 Operations Analysts
  2. Overseeing workflow and performance plans for each individual client in order to maximise the Billing revenues each month
  3. Supporting the development and knowledge of the team across a range of different products, tariffs and ways of working to ensure bills are produced accurately and efficiently
  4. High levels of Client Relationship Management in order to understand ever-changing priorities from the clients
  5. Maintaining close working relationships with the wider group of Operations Team Leads to ensure end to end resolution of issues without further impact on other related processes
  6. Regular process improvement reviews to ensure our processes are ran efficiently with high levels of quality to prevent re-work
  7. Internal stakeholder relationships with product, engineering, support and client relationship teams
  8. To add value to the experience of our clients, colleagues and other relevant stakeholders through practicing and promoting the ENSEK values.

Key Skills

  1. A people person first and foremost, you should be a motivator, listener, supporter and passionate about supporting others’ development. You will bring your skills and experiences to enable others to be the best they can be.
  2. Strong background of regular successful coaching practices across teams of people as well as having experience in performance management techniques
  3. Knowledge of I&C products would be huge advantage, in particular Flex, Passthrough charges and Export Billing
  4. Some understanding of SQL would be beneficial – this is what the team uses to create bills for our clients’ customers.
  5. A strong understanding of current Electricity dataflows which facilitate resolution of exceptions
  6. A strong problem solver with a background of thinking outside the box to get things done
  7. You will build close working relationships with other leaders within our clients’ operations, therefore, you should be a confident communicator and able to present information clearly and on time
  8. MS office proficiency and excel intermediate level as a minimum to support data analysis
